Okay, truth. I'm a slow writer.

I spent the better part of the morning happily pounding my keyboard and then I realized that my lovers were falling in love too fast.

Ah, the dreaded Insta Love.

Writing a good romance is challenging. What makes people fall in love?

I once fell in love (instantly) with a hunky surfer just because I liked the way he looked in his wetsuit and because he had this way of looking at me and then looking away really fast when I noticed him staring.

If I tried to write a romance that way you all would throw your e-reader across the room.

So ... I went back to my outline and made a bunch of notes that I hope will throw the proper amount of obstacles in my couple's way.
