Revision and Bike Riding
Today was day three of my wonderful, fantastic, thrilling, exuberant, can't-wait-to-get-started revision day!
So how did I begin?
With a bike ride.
Because all good writing sessions start with a bike ride.
Surfer Boy joined me this morning and we headed out into our towns blessedly hill-free zone.
There are not many hill-free zones where we live, let me tell ya.
Since I was trying to impress my husband who is a total stud of an athlete, I said, "Hey! Let's head up one of these side streets. You pick."
One of the side streets is code for BFI (big freaking incline.)
"How about this one?" he said.
"Okay." I eyed the hill and realized that I'd be pushing my bike about a quarter of the way up.
If I had to walk my bike up a hill, here's how I wish I looked: (Substitute a female. Make than an extremely attractive female.)
And here's how I really looked:
See you all tomorrow!
