Getting Messy
Sometimes writing books feels like a gentle breeze on my skin.
Really?
No!
In fact, the moments that feel like things easily click are a gift from the literary gods.
Yesterday I made the realization that I needed to dismantle the midpoint of my book because guys, it just didn't work!
So here I sit on a Saturday finally closing my delicious manuscript after making the story much better and my desk much messier.
Tomorrow, Sunday is my day off. Surfer Boy and I head out to the movies (my other church besides Staples) to see The Upside starring one of my favorite actors, Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad fame.
Ah, there will never be another Breaking Bad but we can dream, can't we?
See you Monday!
Really?
No!
