Back in the saddle
After organizing my revision notes yesterday, I finally sat down today and started the revision process for my next book, working title Summer of Sensuality.
It felt fantastic!
But ...
My new year's goal of being done with work by five o'clock every night failed miserably.
Here it is 5:45 pm, and as Surfer Boy sits on the sofa in front of the fireplace with a glass of red wine, I sit here typing.
I asked my husband, "What can I do to be more productive during the day? Like you are?" (He's the King of productivity.)
His answer: "Get up earlier, go straight to your computer. And quit spending so much time in the kitchen."
Trouble is, my kitchen is my favorite procrastination room.
Tomorrow, I promise I'll be done on time.
After I finish this post, I'll head over to the kitchen and make dinner: Artichokes with lemon dipping sauce and homemade butternut squash soup.
