Conspiracy Theory?
Today my computer dude came over to help me with some computer junk.
As we spoke, he told me that Google (while writer's love it!) is basically a company that records and re-sells your information.
And I do mean all your information.
Since he's a computer geek, he was able to go to a computer program and discover how much information Google had on him.
They had recorded every single search he'd performed since 2011.
Everything.
They know where he shops, what he eats, the movies he enjoys ... I could go on, but you get the picture.
I'm probably late to the party with this knowledge, but it made me rethink my computer habits.
Since I have a Mac, I'll stick to Safari for now.
I suppose when it comes down to it, we all know there's no privacy.
Still, I think it beats the old days of going down to the library and looking everything up manually.
Or does it?
