Spring Break

It's Spring Break and the beachgoers are everywhere.

It's a ton of fun watching teenagers with their surfboards, cell phones, and hormones scamper down to the beach while eating Cheez-Its.

And here I sit happily making up stories.

Today was a good writing day where I felt like maybe I'm actually good at this storytelling thing.

One day is good, one day not so good.

So what I'm wondering is this:

Why not just show up every other day?

Alas, I enthusiastically (or not so enthusiastically) sit down day after day.

Why?

Because I'm a human and the human mind is capable of creating cool stuff.

It's not just Stephen King who comes up with fascinating stories.

Jennifer Jones does too!

Okay, comparing myself to Stephen King was fun.
