All Is Lost

I've spent the past three writing days working on the "all is lost" moment in my novel.

I gotta move on, guys because this is getting tedious.

So what did I do today to take my mind off of that?

Well, have a two-hour lunch with my daughter of course.

My eldest daughter and I have so much fun together because we love to discuss movies, music, and books.

We have the same tastes in art--everything from great love stories to documentaries featuring Ted Bundy.

Yes, we even discussed the merits of Cosmopolitan magazine.

Then, I came home and what did I do?

Spent another hour on my "all is lost" moment.

Sigh.
